Financial Aid Services

Wolford College Financial Services works in partnership with Students, Anesthesia Groups, Hospitals and other external agencies to cultivate successful student educational outcomes. The department goal is to educate students and families about higher education financing.

Wolford College Financial services assists students and families in obtaining financial support and facilitates the effective delivery of funds. Loans, unlike grants, are borrowed money and must be repaid with interest. These are real loans, just like car loans or mortgages. These loans cannot be canceled for any reason (e.g. financial difficulty, etc). These loans are a serious obligation, so you must think about the amount you will have to repay over the years before you take out a loan.

Before Wolford College disburses you any student loan (e.g. TERi loan/Federal loans), Wolford College requires that you complete an entrance counseling session. The purpose of the counseling session is to:

• Provide you with information about how to manage your student loan while you are a student and after you graduate
• Your responsibilities for this loan.

Prior to graduation, Wolford College requires that you complete an exit counseling session. This counseling session provides information about how to manage your student loan after graduation. If you withdraw from the program or fail to complete the program for any reason, you are responsible for repaying your student loan and requires an exit counseling session.

These counseling sessions will require all students to make an appointment with the Director of Financial Aid. All counseling sessions will take place at the Wolford College administrative offices.
