Master's Students
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TB and RN licenses:
Each student is responsible for maintaining current unrestricted nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. All of the above must be current throughout the duration of the program plus 90 days after completion of the program. Failure may result in inability to sit for the certification exam. While in the clinical area if one fails to maintain the above it will result in immediate suspension. All time missed during this period shall be made up prior to graduation or may be added to the end of the student's progression plan to delay graduation. Supension will be handled as outlined per policy. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that certification be maintained and updated 2 months prior to graduation if necessary.

- If you did not receive your renewed RN license in the mail visit the Florida Board of Nursing website to get a copy.
Health Insurance:
Wolford College requires that each students maintain health insurance while enrolled in the program. Due to escalating healthcare costs and other unforeseen changes, all students will be required to purchase health insurance through Wolford College.
- One of the benefits to you is by enrolling all students; we are able to keep costs low for each student.
- The student plan provides adequate coverage for a student who is faced with an unpredicted medical illness or injury and has no other insurance.
- If you already have health insurance, the student insurance plan will act as a supplemental policy to you own insurance plan.
- We do not recommend that you drop you major medical plan if you have one.
- As a supplement to a major medical plan for students it may cover any remaining medical expenses.
- All student enrollment and payments must be done through Wolford College.
- Health insurance will be purchased/renewed annually and charged to your tuition according to enrollment periods so please plan accordingly.
